Mike & Alex Tie the Knot

Crazy Fun at the Bethwood
I'm not sure what did me in- the Southern Comfort shot with Stick, the red wine, the champagne, the fuzzy navel, the ginger-Morgan or the vodka & ginger ales. All I know is that I spent the whole night on the dance floor, running around with the inflatable guitar they handed out, beating people over the head with the guitar. I was off my ass. I only hope that someone has a video of it, because I was beyond funny. You can see in this picture how much fun I'm having. And I was singing along to EVERY SONG that played. Oh- I walked next to some girl named Jill, one of Alex's long-time friends. When the bridal party had their dance, the song was James Taylor, "You've Got a Friend." As a knee-jerk reaction to hearing a song I was familiar with, I began singing along while I danced with Jill. After hearing me sing for a while, she goes to me, "I don't know what's more sad, the fact that you're singing or that you actually know the words."
Here's a nice shot of the groomsmen- from left to right, it's Armando, me and Stick. Armando was my four year college roommate from Cornell. He makes tank simulators for the Army now. It's always good seeing him because the two of us share a really unique brand of humor. I guess when you live with anyone for four years, a part of you becomes them and vice versa. We had some good times. It's just funny how even though he only lives like five minutes away, we could go an entire year without seeing each other. Pretty funny.
Here's Stick looking rather blitzed with me and his girl. You have to love his expression in this picture. He was having just about as much fun as I was that night. Stick becomes absolutely hilarious once he gets some alky in his system. It's a whole new level of Stick. I told him afterwards that it really didn't matter who was at the wedding that night, because I'm sure we would've had just as much fun if we were at a nursing home. It was just one of those nights. We were all feeling good and loving life. And of course I have to thank Armando for being the d.d.
