Theeeeeeeeeeeee Yankees Win!!!

Incredible Night
The game itself was amazing. Oakland busted out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning, but the Yankees fought back a couple innings later. Their bats were looking decent all night. Roger Clemens started for the Yanks but unfortunately it was the lackluster Roger. He lasted only four innings before he got pulled. Our seats were amazing. We were about ten rows from the fence in right field, right by the foul pole. Amazing view. David Justice even cranked a pinch-hit homerun only a few feet from where we were.
The people around us made the game ten times more awesome. There was the Bruce Villanche look-alike, the Paul McCartney look-alike, the guy who kept making movie references (like when some guy on Oakland got beaned and he's like- 'Get him a body bag Johnny!', from Karate Kid), and the guy who kept yelling at Terrence Long, the A's right fielder. This guy actually looked pissed when he yelled at him, saying he had fat ankles, that it was a "long" trip back to Oakland, "Nice catch homo", stuff like that. Oh, I also enjoyed the "F*** Bin Laden" chant that began in our section. Gotta love patriotism.
It's really hard to describe the excitement of the night. When Justice cranked the homerun, the feeling was utter euphoria. We were giving high-fives to everyone, jumping up and down. And when the Yankees got the last out, clinching the ALDS, it was pure pandemonium. Everyone was so happy. Everyone was completely united. We didn't want to leave. We were all screaming our voices away. I sounded like Tone Loc at work the next day. And my hands were completely tenderized from all the clapping. It was an amazing night and I'm glad I was able to be there and share that night with Mike and Paul.
