November 30, 2000 - December 3, 2000 The Philly Scene Rob hooks up...with a couple
Here's a very typical picture of the Stick man, sitting at Mikey's laptop, undoubtedly on AOL Instant Messenger. In fact, if you look at the fill size picture, you will see that he is. Funny thing is that he ended up talking to some girl from Philly and even got her phone number. He is the king at picking up girls that way. He called the number but there was no answer. She was studying in some computer lab that night. Hey, he tried.
	Here's half of Rob's face getting ready for a shave and all of Stick's head, smoothing out his hair for our second night on the town. It was such a process having all six of us get ready in one bathroom (by that time Ed and Kim had arrived), but we actually all got ready on time and we left the apartment when we planned on. Ed and Kim were going to Malibu or some place like that since Kim was under 21. But the big boys were heading out to a place called Shampoo.
We were also excited because were we going to see DJ extraordinaire, Robbie Tronco. We were just in awe when we saw him- with the burning candles spinning around the turn-tables. And his mixes were really good. It wasn't your typical club music. And Shampoo itself was actually a pretty slick place. It had two floors and multiple rooms. And there were a lot of people. My fondest memory was being up, dancing on one of the big speakers with Mikey as the place was closing. Ther was barely anyone left on the floor, but we were dancing fools.
	Here's one of my favorite pictures- me and Stick before heading out on Saturday night. I made this my background at work. Anyway, so Shampoo was a good time. Stick had these kamikaze "shots" that came in almost a mug. It was like a quadruple shot or something. So he was pretty funny by night's end. And Rob ended up buying drinks for some couple that he met. He was dancing with the female half of the couple. She was wearing super tight leather pants. But I think they were married. Hmm...
