November 30, 2000 - December 3, 2000 The Philly Scene I find myself stupified, coming back again...
What better way to wake up than to see Rob and Ed rolling around in their underwear. That made my weekend. But the best was when they got too close to the end of the couch and the whole thing closed up on them, crushing them inside the couch. It was one of the funniest things I ever saw. Almost as funny as when Rob made Mikey's bed collaspe a few hours later. Ah, such memories.
	Here's a classic picture of our man, Stick, reading- guess what? Yep, the sports section to find out the betting lines. Oh wait, I forgot, he doesn't bet anymore... We all just hung out Sunday morning because that night we were going to a concert at the Electric Factory. We were seeing Disturbed, Spinkshank, and Union Underground. Not exactly my fav's, but I was going to be with everybody and I wanted to experience the scene. This was the first time we were all together since the US-Mexico World Cup qualifier at Giants Stadium. And that was the first time since- I think - high school. It's too bad we don't do it more often, but when we do, we also have a classic time.
I decided to put both of the bed pictures in my little story. This one shows Ed under the covers, Mikey hopping across the whole bed, and Rob crushing Stick and Kim. That wasn't the only crushing Rob did on Sunday. He went wild at the concert- totally going nuts in the pit. He was pushing people, whipping people around, hitting people, and I even think that he was responsible for ripping the shirt of Ed's back. As for myself, we I suffered the worst charlie horse of my life. I could barely stand. Someone nailed me right in the leg. So I took it easy for the last part of the show.
	Rob was also to blame for getting me up crowd surfing. It was something I'd never done and ardently resisted. Eventually I gave in and Rob hoisted me up on top of the crowd. I went the unorthodox way of face down, but that made it even more amazing. It was almost a surreal experience. I was being suspended in the air as all these hand were pushing me along until I reached the stage and some guy from the crew grabbed me and brought me down. Anyway, this picture has Ed and Mikey a bit faded, but I finally got to jump in. All in all, an awesome weekend, and many thanks to Mikey for letting us crash and trash his place.
